Candido also provides entertainment for nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. The Candy Man has a unique way of reaching senior populations because, for over 5 years, Candido worked in the activities department of an adult day care center on Boston’s South Shore.
Candido Bretto is also the author of a wonderful children’s book called, “The Falling Star Repairman.” It’s beautifully illustrated by New Zealand’s Maddy Moore and inspired by a Duxbury, Massachusetts resident named Elmer Mendes.
